What we do FAQ

I will follow these steps:

· First, I always cover your appliances and the surrounding area, keeping everything clean and tidy.

· I inspect your oven before I start work. If I spot any problems I will let you know before I begin. Yes, this can protect me from claims for damages, but it also gives you the opportunity to order any replacement parts such as bulbs or fans.

· I switch your oven on to heat it up. Some warmth helps to soften some of the residues and make cleaning easier.

· Then, I will remove all the racks, trays, back panel and fan and leave them in a special ‘dip tank‘ in my van, where they will soak in heated water mixed with a non-caustic oven cleaning solution.

· Whilst this is happening, back in your kitchen, I will remove your oven door so that I can reach to the back easily and also thoroughly clean all the glass panels.

· When the oven interior is shining, it’s back to the van to finish cleaning your racks and trays, then bring them in to refit each one.

· Once I’ve safely refitted the door you can use your oven immediately with no toxic smells left behind to taint your delicious food.

When you book an oven clean with OvenKind I will make sure I allow enough time in my diary to give your oven my undivided attention. I always allow time for a professional job. Most ovens take around 2 hours to clean but this depends on their condition of course.

I have a variety of fume free and non caustic products to tackle all aspects of oven cleaning. I can use different strength cleaners so that I always get the best result. If anything proves particularly tough to remove I have industrial strength pastes designed to remove even the most stubborn grime.
